Unbelievable though it may be since the BBC at Whiteladies Road, Bristol, was once renowned for its on site foxes, the current facilities manager of the soon to be closed centre has stated that she has never heard of foxes there.
Sarah Mills, the Bristol Fox Lady who has the approval of both the RSPCA and Animal Rescue Centre in Bristol was sent footage of a fox with mange. Easily treatable. However, the Facilities Manager refused her permission to treat and stated that "What you do not understand is that this is a business. Our contractors will take care of the fox". Basically she is telling pest control to trap and kill.
I have alerted Chris Packham to the situation and emailed and "X" every and anybody connected with management or wildlife at the BBC.
If the fox is killed just because it has mild mange then the BBC will receive a lifelong blacklisting from me so they can stop calling me.
The BBC "champions of wildlife"...unless it is on their own property
Shame on them. They need Fox-A-Gon to correctly protect their sites.
