The journey from seeing these photos taken of the babies playing at the Institute of Cytology & Genetics to having them in our arms was a path paved in perseverance, love, and never believing in “impossible”- I like to call it my “American spirit”… never give up, strength, conviction, all mixed in sass! I fell in love with them at first sight and fought to bring them into our loving center!

They bring so much joy to everyone they meet… they matter, their lives matter, as do the lives of all animals!! We must fight for their right to be alive and free of despair...
